Shannon George

Founder & CEO

Shannon George, professionally known as Shantí, is a Jamaican-British producer, theatre director, creative director and entrepreneur. She is the CEO and founder of Brownstone Studios, a production company dedicated to amplifying Black artists through film, theatre, and cultural events. Her vision for Brownstone Studios is to build a global platform that connects communities, celebrates culture, and redefines Black British and Caribbean representation across film, theatre, and media.

Taja Morgan

Talent Officer & Dramaturg

Taja Morgan holds a BA degree in Theatre Arts and is a seasoned theatre practitioner. She honed her craft through training at the Identity School of Acting and the MN Academy, establishing a strong foundation in performance techniques. Morgan is also the founder of Empower Arts, a London-based drama company dedicated to helping individuals develop confidence, creativity, and self-expression through the medium of performance.

With extensive experience in directing and facilitating drama programs for children and young people, she brings a uniquely developmental perspective to her work with adults. In her current role as Talent Officer and Dramaturg at Brownstone Studios, she leads training initiatives, performance management strategies, and organisational development. She supports the entire creative process, from casting and artist development to helping actors refine their craft and deliver compelling, truthful work on stage. Her approach blends professionalism with warmth, creating a rehearsal and work environment where individuals feel both challenged and empowered to reach their full potential.

Gabrielle Amponsah-Asare

Cultural Producer & Writer

Gabrielle Amponsah-Asare is a cultural producer and writer with a degree in Theatre Arts. Her work delves into the intersections of belief, identity, and the human condition, exploring how people find hope and transformation through lived experience. She has developed her storytelling practice through live performances, building a voice that is both reflective and resonant. At Brownstone Studios, Gabrielle brings a thoughtful approach to storytelling that centres authenticity, cultural depth, and emotional truth.

Destiny Samuels

Creative Director & Videographer

Destiny Samuels is a Creative Director, Photographer, and Videographer. At Brownstone Studios, she leads visual strategy, concept development, content creation, visual campaigns, and brand shoots with excellence and cinematic depth.
